From the A-Shop HomePage you can consult the catalogue and find more than 2000 Alessi products categorized by author and product type.

PLACING YOUR ORDER
In order to add items to "your cart", choose the merchandise you'd like to purchase and click on "Buy". You can then choose to either continue shopping or proceed to check out.
When you are ready to complete your purchase, click on "Proceed Checkout" and then "CheckOut". If you are already registered online with Alessi simply enter your username and password, if not please fill in the registration form.

Attention: The invoice address and the delivery address should show the same country.

You can review and amend your order details at any time by clicking on "Modify profile".

When you are ready to complete your order, click "Submit Order". Our payment partner Moneybookers Ltd, located in the payment section of our website, will assist you during this operation.
We use the Secure Sockets Layer to ensure the safety of all information concerning your online order. You can complete your purchase safely even if the web page does not change.

Once your payment details have been confirmed, the order will be sent to ALESSI S.P.A. and you will receive an on-line order confirmation. As soon as the order has been shipped, you will receive an automated email from UPS with your tracking number. You will also receive an email from Alessi, issuing a copy of the invoice which should be used as a receipt and warranty document.

Choosing to complete the order means that you have read and accepted the here described sales conditions, regulated by D.Lgs. 185/1999 of the Italian law.

Attention: ALESSI S.p.A. does not allow the purchase from minors if not supported by the adults.

PRODUCT AVAILABILITY
Available: your order will be sent out immediately, following the receipt of the confirmation email - see Delivery Conditions section.
Item not available: the product is out of stock in our warehouse and is therefore not able to ship at present.
Quantity not available: the product is available for a lower quantity than the one ordered.

Attention: The images displayed on this site have the purpose of showing how a particular product look.
They do not represent in any way a tie or an obligation for the seller.

DUTY ON THE AMOUNT
All given prices include VAT and/or any other duty. The shipping cost is excluded, unless otherwise stated. It is important for the customer to be aware of the shipping charges, prior to completing the purchase.

Attention: there are some products packed in multiple packages. You will find a detailed note in the product description. In this case the price shown and the quantity belongs to the complete packaging.

DELIVERY CONDITIONS
All products are delivered through UPS. There are 2 different delivery options available to the customer:

Standard: expect delivery within 7/8 working days from the date in which the order was placed. Deliveries are free of charge for all purchases over $ 100.00.

Express: expect delivery in 4/5 working days for U.S.A. from the date of the order.

To gain further information about these charges, together with delivery times, please see our summarizing schedule:

UPS Standard - delivery in 7/8 working days
Purchase amount lower than $ 100.00 costs $ 10.00
Purchase amount higher than $ 100.00 transport is free of charge.

UPS Express – delivery in 4/5 working days
Purchase amount lower than $ 100.00 costs $ 50.00
Purchase amount higher than $ 100.00 costs $ 40.00.

Attention: we do not ship to P.O. Box addresses and Puerto Rico.

Attention: deliveries to Hawaii and Alaska are only possible through the Express service (see schedule).

In case of absence of the receiver, UPS will leave a notice for the customer to contact them to organize a more suitable delivery time.

ALESSI S.P.A. is not responsible for the delay of any delivery, due to circumstances such as bad weather, difficulty in locating the delivery address, etc. The products are insured by ALESSI S.P.A. and cover all transportation methods.

If you do not receive your order within a reasonable time frame, please contact customer service. These details can be found online under the section "Contact us" or by sending an e-mail to: ecousa@alessi.com

Following these simple guidelines will allow our staff to check the progress of your order and confirm with the forwarder the status of your delivery. It is possible for shoppers to check the status of their order directly through the UPS website (please visit www.ups.com for further details).

Deliveries are only possible for U.S.A. credit card holders that reside in the U.S.
Please note that deliveries will be suspended every Saturday and Sunday, Italian holidays and during the weeks 1, 33 and last week of the year. All orders during these periods will be dispatched the next available working day.

Attention: It is possible that delays may occur outside these times, especially the weeks leading up to Christmas. To avoid disappointment, please place your order early. The cut off date for Christmas deliveries is week 50.

Upon receipt of your order, we ask that you thoroughly check that the numbered parcels are indeed the same as those shown on the packing list. Please also check that the packaging has not been damaged or altered in any way.
Should you find something wrong, please notify UPS immediately. You should also ask the carrier to sign with reserve, writing on the shipping document "I accept with reserve due to…" (for instance: damaged package), asking him to countersign.
This procedure is necessary to obtain the responsibility of the carrier for possible damages caused by the transport.

PAYMENT SYSTEM
You can make the payment on Moneybookers' secure web servers. Once the payment is complete you are automatically redirected back to the Alessi's website.
We accept payments via credit/debit card, bank transfer, and wallet.
Your account will be debited when your parcel is shipped.

RETURNS INFORMATION
Damaged or defective merchandise:
You may return purchased items that are damaged, defective, or do not relate to your order.

If you want to return the product you must inform Alessi within 10 days of receipt. You can contact us online at A-Shop by clicking on the "Contact us" icon, or sending an email to: ecousa@alessi.com

Attention: ALESSI will only repair or replace defective products.

When we receive your request to return items, our staff will authorize this by sending you an e-mail detailing how the item/s can be returned. You will also receive a return authorization number, which must be clearly written on the outside of the parcel.

Please note that any returned items should be carefully packed in the original packaging, and contain all accessories and instruction booklets that were originally included in the shipment.

Please note that ALESSI S.p.A. will arrange a shipment by UPS and contemporarily send out a new product.

Attention: ALESSI S.p.A. will not accept any responsibility for damage that has occurred during transportation. We will not accept responsibility for any package that has been tampered with, or any product that does not carry a warranty.

It is important for the customer to put all the original packing, together with the product, into a suitable package for shipping. This is in order to protect the original product from any further damage, inscription or alteration. ALESSI S.p.A. asserts the right to refuse the received goods and to debit the customer for transport charges.

Attention: returned goods without any prior authorization granted by Alessi S.p.A., without a valid reference number, or parcels sent COD (cash on delivery), will not be accepted.

Conditions and rights for receding:
If you, for some reason, are not satisfied with the purchased product, you have to inform ALESSI S.p.A. within 30 days of receipt. You can contact us by clicking on the "Contact us" icon, or sending an email to: ecousa@alessi.com

ALESSI S.p.A. will refund the total amount of the returned products as soon as the received goods have been checked.

Attention:
- It is not possible to change an Alessi product purchased in a store or through a site different from this one with the procedure described above.
- For items that have been received as a gift, and are unwanted, any return must be returned by the original purchaser in order to receive a full refund. This will be issued as a credit to the credit card
- In the event of a customer refusing delivery, any such item will be treated as a return, and the order will be sent to our warehouse. The refund will be the value of the product, together with any relative taxes.

If ALESSI S.p.A. will not give you a written confirmation of your order, the time to return the good back will be 3 months from the receipt of the parcel (art.4 D.Lgs. 185/99).

Italian law controls these general conditions, together with the sale agreement. Any hearing may be held in the Court of Verbania (Italy).
