True all knives are art, but the Alessi La Cintura Di Orione iknives are (excuse the pun) a cut above most all. Not only is a quality stainless used but the design of each piece is really beautiful and super functional. I own the steak knives and the small chef's knife. I would like to have the chef's knife one day. Truly a usable art form, like all Alessi, that's sharp, well constructed, looks great and just fits so well in the hand!
